Pashko Snares First Sizzler Victory

     John Pashko steady effort earned him his first Summer Sizzler victory as he caught early leader Tom Whelan midway through the race then pulled away for a 33:44 clocking. Whelan held on for second in 34:14 while Pete Stasz surprised The Vegas oddsmakers with a 34:28 third place finish.
     Mary Ryczek won the women's division in 34:32 and set a new record for 53 year women in the process, her 12th individual age record on the Harrier 8K course.
