Rivera Extends Win Streak

There is no doubt Carlos Rivera is on a tear.   Having finished April with six straight wins, the likeable Harrier made it seven straight with a  smooth striding 27:57 victory at today's 8K Summer Sizzler.  Dee Brown chased Carlos around Forest Park's perimeter roads to claim second in 28:44, while John Bigos took third as well as master's honors in 29:35.
Kathy Colwell easily took women's honors with a steady 34:30 effort, obviously benefiting from super-secret hill training in Japan.
Club members found the humid, overcast, and drizzly weather to their liking as Harriers captured the top seven places.
