Brown, Butler Win on Picture Perfect Day

   Dee Brown and Kate Butler captured Sizzler # 5 of the 1999 season on a Spring Day that could not have been nicer. Blue and sunny skies, dry and mild temperatures greeted the runners in Springfield’s Forest Park. For Dee (19:19) it was his second win on the Harrier cross country course, while Kate (25:26) captured her first blue ribbon of the season.  Gary Crowley (19:46) proclaimed he was again on the comeback trail after his second place finish and vowed to improve his time on the course every race throughout the summer. Rich Clark (20:37) took third and master’s honors.
