Summer Sizzler Heats Up

It’s still officially springtime, but someone forgot to tell Mr. Sun as the Summer Sizzlers lived up to their name. The 90 degree temperatures didn’t prevent Carlos Rivera from adding another win to his collection as the speedy Harrier clocked a respectable 28:17 over the 8K course. Steve O’Neil gave chase for a while before settling for second in 29:42 and first master. SMACer Rich Clark took third in 30:57. Michelle Sosnowski made her first Sizzler of the year a successful venture with a 33:27 first place women’s time. First time Sizzlers Meg Matthews (42:11) and Jenny Yorke (50:15) were second and third respectively.
