Summer Sizzler Cools Down

After two days of oppressive heat and humidity, a cool front rolled into town just in time for Sizzler #9.  Carlos Rivera continued his domination of the Summer Sizzler series with a convincing 18:04 win on the Harrier cross country course. Seth Roberts was second in 20:56, and first master, while Red Clover Rover Stan Kolpa was third in 21:20.

The real race was amongst the women, with Heather Wenninger (21:29) just edging Michele Sosnowski (21:36). The two Harriers posted two of the fastest times this year on the challenging Forest Park course.
