                          Sutter and Duquette Repeat

                Scott Sutter and Elizabeth Duquette repeated their 8K winning ways, substantially improving on their times of two weeks ago. Scott romped around the outskirts of Forest Park
in a brisk 27:57, over a minute faster, to easily outrun fellow Harrier Brent Fisher whose own 30:30 gapped SMACer Rich Clark (31:23) by a comfortable margin. Mr. Clark, who is reportedly eagerly anticipating his arrival into the senior division, handily won the master’s division in 31:23, good for 3rd overall. EORC’s Dan Clark was first senior in 34:02.  
                Elizabeth clocked 34:09, nearly a minute better then two weeks ago, as she won her third consecutive 8K of the season thereby padding her list leading, all time win total to 39. 
Kristin Ashe also showed substantial improvement with a 2nd place 35:08 effort while Colleen
Cummings had her best time of the early Summer Sizzler season to capture 3rd in 36:07.  
                Senior CMS mainstay Mary Ryczek made her annual tour of the eight thousand meter road course a successful one as she added another single age record to her collection, erasing the previous record for 57 year old women of 38:42, which had been owned by Harrier Doris Aronson the past thirteen years, with a solidly improved 37:38. Mary now owns fourteen separate age records on the 8K course, the most of any individual, male or female.
