Give Cross Country Lessons

            Cross country aficianados returned to Forest Park for a jaunt around the legendary Harrier course. When the dust had cleared, Harriers Richard Clark and Elizabeth Duquette each earned a Summer Sizzler victory. Rich scampered over hill and dale in 20:54 to sweep the open, master and senior titles. Mike Butler took silver in 21:40 while captain Joe Fois grabbed the bronz in 23:12. Bruce Rockwell led the veterans again with a 25:47 effort. Elizabeth ran 24:29 for her 43rd lifetime Summer Sizzler title, thereby stretching her Hall of Fame lead to double digits. Annie Walsh placed second in her first campaign over the course while EORC's Cheryl Longo took third in 41:37.
