FOIS GOES FOR NUMBER 4
Speedster and Harrier Joe Fois was
eyeing his possibilities for win #4 of the 2007 Summer Sizzlers
Series. The conditions were perfect, it was a nice evening for a
great time. At the sound of the Sacramento cow bell, signaling the
start of the race Joe and the other 32 race participants were off
and running. Joe Fois (29:07) came through the finish line
more than 2 minutes ahead of EORC’s Jake Lukasiewicz (31:12)
It was Joe’s 3rd win in the month of May. Coming in third
and close to second was Harrier Mike Lemay (31:24).
Harrier Meaghan Mathews who is running
phenomenal times in the 2007 Grand Prix Race series so far was the
top female finisher running to the finish line with a time of 32:45.
Second female was Laura Wray-Ramos with a time of 37:57 and
third female and first master was Harrier Barbara Bosworth
(38:00) who helped out with the race after she finished running.
First master male was Kevin McCarthy (40:41). First senior
was Harrier Rich Clark with an impressive time of 31:27, way
to go Rich. And fellow Harrier Art Roberts was the first male
veteran with time of (34:49). 19 year old and first junior was Ryan
Byrne who crossed the finish line in 33:50.
Tonight’s predicted time winner was Bill
Thibault, only 3 days after running the Sugarloaf Marathon, Bill
was off by 7 seconds. Good job Bill.
