32^st Annual Snowstorm Classics Begins

  Carol L’Esperance and Lyn Walker Topple Age Records, again.

The 32nd Snowstorm Classic kicked off much in the same way it did last year. Nearly one hundred runners welcomed in the first 5k under seasonally pleasant, ideal conditions. And just as they did in the 2010 season opener, age group aces Carol L'Esperance and Lyn Walker notch yet another age group record to their already impressive resumes.

Carol got in a final tune-up before next weekend's USATF Club Cross Country National Championship in Seattle, Washington. Carol along with her fellow Harriers will be looking to repeat a stellar showing at last year championship in Charlotte, NC. Lyn was not only tops in her division, but posted an impressive 91.7% age graded performance; 2nd best amongst all competitors. Carol posted a strong 4th in division as well.

The Harriers will be also sending a very strong Male Masters team - a podium finish is quite possible.
