Brian McCarthy and Julie Carroll run away with the first wins of the season
First time Snowstorm
winner Brian McCarthy joined past winner and fellow
Springfield Harrier Julie Carroll to lead all runners through the
first race of
the 34th season. Under sun soaked skies with little wind and
ideal temperatures for a winter jaunt, Betty Quinn strode her way to another age record lowering the standard for 63
year-olds to 25:02 (previously held by Connie Bills 25:14)
